God does not remove us from all
harm; He uses harm to move us
close to Him.
Now, this is what the Lord says,
"Fear not, for I have redeemed
you; I have summoned you by
name; you are mine. When you
pass through the waters, I will
be with you; and when you pass
through the rivers, they will not
sweep over you. When you walk
through the fire, you will not be
burned; the flames will not set
you ablaze. For I am the Lord,
your God, the Holy One of
Israel, your Savior.
For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of
the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing. And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 1 Samuel 2:9

LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. 2 Samuel
