Call me! (Jesus The One True Friend)

Call me! (Jesus The One True Friend)

Friendship is not about being convenient.
It’s about being committed and consistent
Call me (you can call on me) – when you need me!
Call me (you can call on me) – pick up the phone and call me!

What good is a friend,
If you cannot depend on them?
When you’re in need;
Said you need a friend;
Who’ll be there thick and thin;
And you know will be a friend in deed.

You can call me, call me, call me, won’t you call me!
If you need me, then call me!

Say you need a friend,
Who’ll be there when you win.
But stand right by your side when you lose.
Someone you can call in the midnight hour;
And you know when you call, won’t refuse.

Call me in the morning;
Call me late at night;
‘Cause anytime you call me;
You know that it’s alright!
I’m telling you once and I’ll tell you twice;
For you I really care and I’m willing to share;
And I’m willing to sacrifice.

Call me; you can call me; oh yes!
If you need me; then don’t delay;
Pick up the phone and call me right away!

Not gonna be a fair-weather friend,
I’m gonna be right here to the end!
A friend must be honest and true
Show their love, not by what they say but what they do!

For so, so long I used to think about love;
And showed my friends I love them with kisses and hugs.
But one day, Jesus passed my way;
Said no greater love can you give to a friend
Then if you would give your life for them!

Call me in the morning;
Call me late at night;
‘Cause anytime you call me;
You know that it’s alright!
I’m telling you once and I’ll tell you twice;
For you I really care and I’m willing to share;
And I’m willing to sacrifice.

Call me; you can call me; oh yes!
If you need me I’m standing near;
Just call my name and I’ll be there;
Oh don’t you wait and don’t delay;
Just pick up the phone and call me right away!
My brother, my sister
You can call on me, you can call on me!
